Russians in the City Limited (RICTM) (We) has a privacy policy applicable to www.russiansinthecity.eu (Website). Please read the details of the policy below and it you have any questions about it please write to us at presidium@russiansinthecity.eu.

What information we collect

When you become a member of RIC we ask you to provide some personal information about you such as: name, email address(es), place of origin, address, date of birth, occupation, university attended etc (the “Personal Data”).

How we collect information

We receive the Personal Data through the registration process. When you ask to become a RIC member we ask you to provide this personal information. We use cookies to store some of the user's data (such as user_id during the session).

Why we collect

The Personal Data you provide allows us to tailor and develop new ideas for RIC activities, newsletters and RIC Benefits and to improve the content of RIC website. The Personal Data we collect is used solely for our internal review to improve services for our members and is stored in a secure database. We do not pass the Personal Data to third parties.

If you do not want to receive e-mails from RIC, please unsubscribe from RIC by sending us an e-mail at presidium@russiansinthecity.eu with a subject matter “UNSUBSCRIBE” and providing your full name. We will ensure your name is removed and all your Personal Data will be deleted from the website.

If you provide your postal address we may use it to post you paper invitations to third party events but only if you have requested to participate in such third party events.

We provide first, last name and the name of the organisation you stated in the “Company” field on the guest lists for the events to which you have registered to attend.

We reserve the right to revise or update this policy at any time. The current version of the policy is always displayed on this page.

We may disclose and use personally identifiable and other information in special circumstances where it is necessary to enforce our terms and conditions, policies, and/or to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, and to protect against imminent harm to the rights or property of RIC. We may also disclose and use personally identifiable and other information when we are required to do so by law.
